Food Sector Manager.
Kiran brings a wealth of experience to the food industry, with 17 years of diverse roles ranging from manufacturing to retail health and food safety. She has also gained over 7 years of experience as a lead auditor and third-party auditor across various industries including food, catering, manufacturing, distribution centres, healthcare, public services, and recruitment.
Her career began as a Technical Coordinator at Allied Bakeries, where she quickly advanced to the role of Site Quality Auditor. She then transitioned to Chilled Desserts, working as a Quality Technologist for UNIQ Prepared Foods. Kiran’s dedication and expertise led to her promotion as Site Quality Manager, overseeing a team of quality auditors and laboratory technicians.
Subsequently, Kiran joined the NBTY Head Office, where she served as a Regulatory Services Officer responsible for health and food safety in retail stores and the main depot. She was later promoted to Senior Regulatory Services Officer. She then joined Daedalus Safety as a Health & Safety Consultant, working closely with retail giant Apple to implement changes in safety culture across their UK and European sites.
Since joining ISOQAR in 2016, Kiran has primarily worked as an auditor, quickly assuming the role of Lead Auditor for Compass, one of the UK’s largest contract catering and soft services companies. Her extensive knowledge and experience in the food industry led her to become involved in BRCGS Food and Storage & Distribution audits. In June 2021, Kiran transitioned into the role of Food Sector Manager, overseeing the Food Scheme and collaborating with planning, operations, and international teams.
