How to implement ISO 9001
ISOQAR is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), the national accreditation body for the UK. They are recognised by the government. As all UKAS-accredited ISO 9001 certification companies have to remain impartial, we can’t help you implement your system because we will also be auditing it. It would be like marking our own homework.
But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Here are the two routes you can use to implement ISO 9001 in your organisation:

How long does ISO 9001 certification last?
ISO 9001 certification is valid for three years, provided your organisation successfully completes annual surveillance audits. At the end of the three-year cycle, you’ll undergo a recertification audit to renew your certificate.
What steps can a business take to maintain ISO 9001 certification?
Maintaining ISO 9001 certification involves regularly reviewing and improving your Quality Management System (QMS). This includes carrying out internal audits, monitoring performance, maintaining appropriate documentation, providing employee training, conducting management reviews and addressing any nonconformities to support continual improvement.
How many quality principles are there in ISO 9001?
There are seven Quality Management Principles that underpin ISO 9001. These are customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making and relationship management. These principles form the foundation of the criteria for ISO 9001 certification and support organisations in delivering consistent quality and continual improvement.
Who issues the ISO 9001 certificate?
ISO 9001 certificates are issued by independent certification bodies, such as ISOQAR, following a successful certification audit. Where UKAS-accredited certification is claimed, confirm that the relevant activity is included in the certification body’s current UKAS schedule of accreditation.

Can ISO 9001 and 45001 be combined into one certification and audited at the same time?
Yes. If you have more than one ISO management system, or are considering implementing an additional standard such as ISO 45001, you can combine them into an Integrated Management System (IMS). Common requirements such as internal audits, management reviews, leadership processes and documented information can be managed together. ISOQAR can also audit integrated management systems simultaneously, helping to reduce duplication and improve efficiency.
