Tracey had already accumulated 14 years’ QHSE experience, 7 of these in a managerial role prior to joining Alcumus in January 2014.
Her career began in 1994 as an assembly operative for a company that manufactured switches and sensors for the automotive industry, where she progressed to running the Research and Development test Laboratory Technician carrying out life / repeatability testing and analysis of warranty returns. During this time, she successfully gained a BTEC qualification in electronics to develop her knowledge of electronics theory.
After the company went in to administration in 1999 she joined a company that carried out electro / mechanical repairs for the banking, retail and hardware support sectors, initially as a Quality Coordinator, before taking over the Management role in 2006. During this time, her career development included completing the NEBOSH General certificate in Health and Safety and Lean Six Sigma Green belt training.
Due to working with globally based customers her role was also to ensure that Customer specific policies and requirements were adhered to, alongside ISO and legal and regulatory compliance and driving forward a regime of continual improvement using Lean Six Sigma and 5S principles.
She has a wealth of knowledge and expertise to share.
