How to claim ELCAS funding and how it works
Before you can claim ELCAS funding, you must meet certain eligibility requirements.
Individual scheme members need to have completed a minimum of six years of eligible service to qualify for the lower tier funding.
For those who completed four years of qualifying service before April 1, 2017, please refer to JSP 822 for further details. The lower tier offers up to £1,000 per claim installment, while the higher tier, available after eight years of service, provides up to £2,000 per claim installment. Only service accumulated since April 1, 2000, is counted as eligible for the ELC scheme.
To claim ELCAS funding, you must complete an online claim form and submit it to your Education Staff at least 25 working days before your course begins.
Once you receive your Claim Authorisation Note (CAN), present it to ISOQAR before the start of your course.
