CSI Leasing is one of the world’s largest independent equipment leasing specialists with 70 offices around the globe and more than 1,000 employees. From their three sites across the UK, they offer a suite of services including IT equipment leasing and asset disposal and destruction.
“Businesses just aren’t prepared to take risks when it comes to anything IT related,” says Louise Dove, Credit and ISO Manager for CSI Leasing. “They are rightfully very demanding. So, having the three certificates helps establish our credentials as a credible supplier.”
Many businesses seek ISO certification in order to help win new business and CSI Leasing is no exception. “Many larger customers won’t even think about doing business with you if you don’t hold these certificates,” explains Louise. “And it’s part of my role to maintain these systems and ensure that we keep our certification.”
However, as Louise adds: “For us, it’s just as important that we use the systems to add value to the business. We are now working more efficiently and smarter as a business which has resulted in a real increase in productivity.”
When implementing their management systems, CSI Leasing sought help from a consultant. “We wanted to make sure that the management systems we were developing were based on best practice but also appropriate to our needs,” says Louise. “We didn’t have the experience in-house at the time, so it made sense to bring in someone to support us. But now that we are up and running, it’s an integral part of everything we do, so we maintain it ourselves.”
It was their consultant who introduced them to Alcumus ISOQAR. Louise explains: “We spoke with many of the leading certification bodies, but it was our consultant that put forward Alcumus to us. We got in touch and the rest was history. We were so impressed with their knowledge and their dedication to putting our needs first.”
